You can trust that I am finding my way right back to Three Floor dresses as soon as I can smell summer in the air, they really are all you need for an outfit. This one was a must because I live in a world where black lace and nude never grows old. Trust variations of this to pop up here soon again. The fact that those shoes entered my wardrobe in black as well shouldn't be a shocker, standard 5 inch and up behavior.

Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s not really vital to address the beetle juice reference when wearing wide stripes anymore, it’s probably the most exhausted line when a block stripe pops up somewhere. I dressed up this punky version with a shirt and some curtain tassels (in all seriousness) because a certain Saint Laurent necklace has been sitting in my online cart all weekend. We should call this the classic blog version.

InstaMay
Lately on Instagram (I'm enjoying being unblocked unnaturally much..) Beautiful London and thoughts on new season potential buys inc. Shirts by Supermuse & Joseph, Prada bow sandals and checked fall dreams by Gianvito Rossi for Altuzurra - soon landing at Matches. Embracing the kicking off of sample sale season and last but not least finalizing touches on our kitchen which inspired a spring clean through my jewelry stash and hoping that intense Juicy Couture necklace was on it.

Oh leo, not Dicaprio but the print - although I have quite strong feeling towards both.. What I meant to say was that my love for the sometimes exhausting animal pattern comes and goes and lately I’ve been leaning towards it more than usual. This oversized coat really did it for me and the fact that I don’t own many Von Furstenberg pieces was what made me eventually hand over the credit card. Good thing I never bought a somewhat similar piece from Zara last year, I still find it hard to leave that store empty handed but introducing another Zara buy into the blogsphere can only get so exciting.. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Used and abused
I’ve manage to bring these Kurt Geiger shoes close to a used and abused state lately, but when it came down to choosing a pair for my open cut jeans the strappy Samantha was a winner. I’m wearing a fresh pair of A.N.D jeans which are part of a concept where developing the traditional washes are replaced by wear instead, so no water used in the process! us UK residents should keep an eye out for them in Selfridges in the near future.
A simple one for you today, soon it’s time to move on to shorts and in to the months were layering is only optional.

Untie the knots
The blog has been quite street-style heavy lately, I noticed. However the recent trip out of London towards Devon took me right back to the times that I used to embrace my surroundings a bit more. The dramatic rocky beaches was a bit of an inspiration to say the least, nothing like we have in Finland or even what I’ve been used to see on my travels lately. Right now I feel like there is no anxiety or unease that a change of scenery wouldn’t cure, note to self: More road trips.

On
this weeks agenda there is mostly catch-ups and flu recovery. I was all
surprisingly matchy matchy with my Supermuse floral shirt when I came
across one of the nowadays legendary Karma Kars in Notting Hill. I came
to the conclusion that I should really embrace florals on clothing more,
considering the heavy percentage of cherry blossoms on my Instagram...

The all new Unique pre-fall
I am really excited to be able to bring you an exclusive here on the blog!
Topshop is launching it’s first ever Pre-fall range for their Unique runway collection that is built of silky, understated evening-wear separates that work together like the dream in-between season capsule wardrobe.
The new range that is launching on the 7th of May (that’s tomorrow!) will continue with bi-annual collections with a Resort drop in November. So in between anxiously having to wait for the Unique collections to hit the stores and the weekly checks on what’s new in the Boutique section, there is a new kid in town that seems to be outsmarting not only the barely-there competition on the high-street but Topshop’s own collections as well. I happily welcome the new range that is like a well behaved love child of Boutique and Unique, as it strips ways the effort of having to transfer the runway look to real life.
Oh and as a side note to all the flattery talk, not sure if I’ll ever get over the pink ensemble.
